Ward has made headlines on Thursday morning with quotes being attributed to him calling former Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher a ‘knob’ and suggesting that Sterling would definitely be leaving the club soon.
A series of top club both at home and in Europe are believed to be interested in landing his signature, with Barcelona and Bayern Munich believed to be amongst the frontrunners.
However, Ward has delivered some bad news for the European suitors, by hinting that the 20-year-old would be staying in the Premier League instead.
This is good news for both Chelsea and Manchester City, who were both named as possible destinations, though Ward believes that “every Premier League club will make a bid for him.”
