Chelsea are interested in signing Liverpool contract rebel Raheem Sterling but are not willing to pay his £50m asking price, according to reports.
Sterling, 20, only has two years left on his current deal at Anfield is refusing to sign a lucrative extension worth a rumoured £100,000 per week.
He is known to want out of Liverpool this summer and Manchester City tested the waters with a £25m offer last week. But the Reds are thought to want double that amount.

The Premier League champions are too monitoring Sterling’s situation but will not be entering the bidding while his valuation is so high, Sky Sports understands.
The England international has 23 goals in 129 first-team appearances since moving to Merseyside from Queens Park Rangers as a teenager in 2010.
Real Madrid, Manchester United and Real Madrid have also been linked with Sterling.
