Sterling is yet to sign a new deal with the Reds and is believed to be being chased by a raft of top Premier League clubs, including City, Chelsea and Arsenal.
According to Daily Express, City are willing to offer the 20-year-old an incredible £200k-a-week deal to bring him to the Etihad.
Sterling has one year remaining on his current £35k-a-week deal with the Reds, and his failure to commit to the club has increased speculation that he may be sold in the summer.
The England international was booed by his own fans at Liverpool’s awards night on Tuesday, and it now seems the winger is heading towards the exit door at Anfield.
Sterling has scored seven goals for Liverpool this term, down on his nine from the 2014/15 season.
