Both sides will be wanting to bounce back after defeats.
Third take on fourth as Rajasthan Royals host Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2013 IPL.
Both franchises suffered defeat in their last match to Chennai Super Kings and will be wanting to get back on track with a win.
It’s a slightly worse state of affairs for Rajasthan as they have now lost two in a row and their good early form is beginning to desert them.
That being said, despite losing to Chennai during their last IPL outing Rahul Dravid’s men put in a far from disappointing performance, with Shane Watson scoring the first century of the 2013 tournament.
The side also have Australian all-rounder James Faulkner in fine form with the ball, taking 11 wickets since his return from injury and looking sharp.
For the Sunrisers it was a defeat at the death against the Super Kings, as opposition skipper MS Dhoni hit the winning runs with two balls to spare.
Cameron White has been filling in as captain after Kumar Sangakkara decided to spend some time on the sidelines, but some of the Aussie’s decisions have been a little wayward.
Hyderabad are struggling to find any consistent form with the bat, but like their opponents today they do boast a quality bowling attack.
The ICC No.1 bowler Dale Steyn leads their pace attack alongside Pakistan’s Ishant Sharma, with the pair taking nine and 10 wickets apiece so far this year.
Yet it is spinner Amit Mishra who is stealing the headlines, claiming four wickets in four balls in the Sunrisers previous match before Chennai and he is joint top in the IPL bowling standings.
