Chelsea midfielder Ramires has missed his side’s title celebrations after being rushed to hospital with kidney complaints, according to reports.

The Brazilian was believed to have been named in Chelsea’s starting line-up, but complained of being ill before kick-off and was replaced in Jose Mourinho’s side by Juan Cuadrado.
According to The Mirror, Mourinho left Chelsea’s title-winning celebrations to make a quick dash to hospital to visit the former Benfica man.
“He went to the hospital. He was feeling so bad we had to take him out of the dressing room. I am going to visit him now. He was feeling really bad,” Mourinho is quoted as saying by The Mirror.
It is understood that Ramires will stay in hospital to undergo tests the exact nature of the issue that is believed to have left Chelsea medics seriously concerned.
Ramires made 23 league appearances for the Blues this season, scoring two goals.
