1. Matt Flynn
Flynn is as good as gone from the Green Bay Packers after returning as their primary backup. He had cashed in on two promising starts with the Packers, including a six-touchdown game in Week 17 of the 2011 season against the Detroit Lions. He signed a three-year, $20.5 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks. He was traded after the 2012 season to the Oakland Raiders though, due to being beat out for the starting job by Russell Wilson.
After unsuccessful stints with the Raiders and Buffalo Bills before returning to the Packers and keeping their 2013 season afloat with Aaron Rodgers out. Scott Tolzien and rookie Brett Hundley are under contract for the Packers, so Flynn is still looking for work. Although he has proven to be an unreliable full-time starter, Flynn would be a perfect fit as a backup for the Patriots.
