5) Adam Lallana
The Southampton skipper has been superb this term, scoring nine goals and assisting six more, and he could be a Liverpool player ahead of next season as a result.
4) Wayne Rooney
England’s talismanic forward has had to carry a very average United side this season. He’s scored 17, assisted ten, and signed a new long-term deal to make him the country’s highest paid footballer.
3) Daniel Sturridge
The highest scoring Englishman in the top flight with 21, Sturridge formed a jaw-droppingly good partnership with Luis Suarez for Liverpool, and Roy Hodgson will be foolish not to use his pace and finishing ability through the centre.
