5) Bacary Sagna – Arsenal

Another player whose contract is expiring in the summer is Arsenal’s superb Frenchman. The Gunners have the second best defensive record in the top flight, and while their centre-backs Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny have earned the plaudits, Sagna’s been just as consistent. He’ll take some replacing in the summer if he doesn’t sign an extension.
