Pulis impresses few with his direct footballing style, but his results as a manager with very average squads cannot be questioned. He kept Stoke in the Premier League between 2006 and 2013 without spending hardly any money, and reached an FA Cup final in 2011. Now with Palace, he’s organised them defensively so they have a genuine chance of avoiding relegation.
