Despite turning 34 soon, the string puller still has plenty to offer, even if it is on a part time basis. United are a better team with him in the squad, though it will only be a question of how much he has left in the tank.

Chris Smalling
A good defender no doubt, but whether he is up to the required standard United need is still up for debate. Should Mats Hummels come on board over the summer, then Smalling would surely be the one to drop out.
