Was frequently a scapegoat for when things went wrong at Old Trafford in the past, but he is now at Aston Villa taking up the same role. There is a good player in there somewhere, but he’d be best advised to move on and find his level elsewhere – which may not even be in the Premier League.

Young was once so electric when he was with Villa, and looked certain to be a nailed on regular with the England national side. However, like so many others he has struggled to live up to the expectations placed on him and as he gets older will only find it harder to reach those levels.
