Real Madrid shift summer transfer focus from Liverpool superstar Luis Suarez to Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero.
Premier League champions Manchester City are dreading a £60 million bid from Real Madrid for their ace striker Sergio Aguero, reports the Daily Star.
The Argentine international has been a big hit at the Etihad Stadium since signing for the club in 2011, and has helped them lift two top flight titles in the past three seasons.
However, the former Atletico Madrid starlet is believed to be open to a move back to the Spanish capital with his former club’s arch rivals Real Madrid this summer, and the prospect of losing their star striker could worry Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini, who is already uncertain about the future of another of his key players in Yaya Toure.
Real Madrid are now looking to give up on the chase for Liverpool ace Luis Suarez, after being informally told that the Uruguayan will not leave Anfield at any cost, and Los Blancos’ hierarchy are now after 25-year old Aguero, who, despite having several injuries last season, finished with 28 goals in 34 games.
