Ex-Porto youth coach says Special One will return to Stamford Bridge.
Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is set to return to Chelsea this summer, according to one of his former coaches.
Rui Sa Lemos, who was a youth coach at Porto under Mourinho, posted a picture of the 50-year-old tactician next to Stamford Bridge on twitter, adding the caption: ‘Mourinho’s home next year’.
Earlier Lemos posted a tweet reading: ‘I’m not guessing. I’m giving news.’
The twitter account has subsequently been shut down, according to the Daily Star.
Mourinho was in London with his family this weekend, taking advantage of the international break to enjoy a weekend away from the Spanish capital.
His presence in the UK has fuelled speculation that he could be set for a return to Chelsea, where he won two Premier League titles and an FA Cup between 2004 and 2007.
The 50-year-old has done little to dampen the rumours, dramatically telling Marca.com: “There are things that may be about to happen that no one can imagine.”
Mourinho guided Real to their first La Liga title in four years last season but Los Blancos have floundered this term and currently sit 13 points behind Barcelona, with almost no hope of retaining the championship.
The outspoken head-coach has also been involved in bust-ups with several high-profile players and Real’s continued participation in the Champions League, a competition Mourinho has won twice, looks to be the only thing keeping him at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are currently under the unhappy stewardship of interim boss Rafa Benitez but the Spaniard has already admitted he will leave Stamford Bridge at the end of this season.
