Zidane, Ancelotti and Perez to thrash out way to lure wide man to Spain.
Real Madrid officials are set to meet on Wednesday in order to discuss their strategy to entice Tottenham Hotspur midfield player Gareth Bale to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, reports the Daily Star.
Los Blancos have been monitoring the coveted Wales international for some time now after the sensational campaign that the wide man had at White Hart Lane last time out, when the 23-year-old was crowned the double Footballer of the Year.
Bale hit an eye-catching 26 goals in just 44 matches in all competitions for the White Hart Lane side last season, including 21 strikes in only 33 Premier League outings for the north London club.
However, the Liga outfit are believed to be unwilling at present to meet Tottenham’s £60 million valuation of the winger and would prefer Bale to hand in a written transfer request in order to push through his move to the Spanish capital when the transfer window reopens on July 1.
“The player desires the challenge of playing in Spain, but Spurs do not want to negotiate,” a Madrid source is quoted as saying in the Star.
