Casillas’ own future has been under some heavy scrutiny this season, despite reclaiming his first team spot from Keylor Navas, as the Champions League winners weigh up their own move for Manchester United star David de Gea this summer.
Real had apparently told the 33-year-old that he is free to leave at the end of the current campaign, and are even prepared to hand him a hefty payment as a golden handshake.
And now, according to Spanish journalist Josep Pedrerol, the veteran stopper has now told the club that he wants to make the move to north London when the time comes.

Should the move go ahead, it will likely spell the end of the line for Wojciech Szczesny at the club, who dropped out to Colombian international David Ospina at the start of the year.
