Los Blancos will only move for Sterling next season.
Liverpool have more scary news coming their way from Spain as European Champions Real Madrid have set their sights on acquiring another one of their’ top players in Raheem Sterling, reports the Daily Mirror.
Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, who is already plotting a big money move for the Reds’ biggest star Luis Suarez, is also a fan of the 19-year-old and hopes to land him at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in the future.
On the back of a stellar season for the Merseysiders last term, Sterling also broke into England’s World Cup squad in Brazil, and is now being tipped to become a world beater in the years to come.
The only solace for the Reds though is that Ancelotti only plans to move for the teenage starlet next summer, before which Kop boss Brendan Rodgers would be hoping to secure the long term future of his prized asset by offering him a hefty wage package in his proposed new deal.
