The Spanish giants have been alerted to the fine form of the Algerian international, who scored a hat-trick for Porto in the Champions League this week.
The 24-year-old has previously been hailed as the next big thing after starting his development in French football with Rennes, though he has proven to be something of a late bloomer.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool have also been linked with Brahimi recently after his fine goalscoring form from midfield, though Real will also be a tempting option for him.
