Portuguese has other options on the table however.
Real Madrid playmaker Cristiano Ronaldo has been told by his agent to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu for one more year, reports the Daily Mail.
The Portugal international only arrived in the Spanish capital from Premier League giants Manchester United in the summer of 2009, however, the 28-year-old now only has two years left on his current deal with the La Liga champions.
And, recent reports in the Spanish capital have suggested that the attacker may be considering his future with Madrid come the end of this season, with the likes of big spending Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain and runaway Premier League leaders Manchester United both believed to be interested in signing Ronaldo this summer.
However Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has reportedly now told his client and close friend not to leave Los Blancos just yet, but to stay with Madrid for one more year, before having his choice of any club on the Continent in 2014.
His contract expires in 2015, according to footballer database Transfermarkt, and the Portugal star will have much more power to dictate his future with just a year remaining on his contract.
