Khedira’s agent has been in talks with Arsenal over a deal to join in the January transfer window, but the Gunners have been unable to finalise a fee with Madrid.
However, reports in mainland Europe are now suggesting that he is doing everything he can in order to seal a move to north London, and that includes lowering his astronomical wage demands.
AC Milan, Manchester United and Chelsea have all shown an interest and made tentative moves to prize him away from the Bernabeu, but the player himself is said to hold a proclivity for joining the Gunners instead.
