Winger has just been voted the best player in the English top flight.
Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has urged Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Gareth Bale to sign for the Spanish giants this summer, says the Sun.
The Wales international is currently one of the most sought-after players in the world after producing a sensational campaign for the north London club that recently saw the wide man crowned as the double Footballer of the Year.
Bale, 23, has just produced his best-ever season in front of goal, finding the back of the net on 21 occasions in the Premier League in only 33 contests, while overall the wide man managed to register 26 goals in just 44 outings for Andre Villas-Boas’s men.
However, even those eye-catching numbers were not enough to see the north London club finish the campaign in the top four of the Premier League, and with it gain entry into next season’s Uefa Champions League.
As a result, Spain international Ramos has now urged Bale to join him in the Spanish capital next season, saying: “Gareth Bale is a Real Madrid-quality signing. He has had an exceptional season. He can punish any team in the world and has the footballing qualities we look for in Madrid.
“I am sure Madrid will not be the only team that want to sign him — but he is the right mould for us.”
