Real Madrid are considering a move for either Petr Cech or Thibaut Courtois as Carlo Ancelotti looks to raid his old club Chelsea this summer, according to the Sun.
The Blues have two world class options in goal this season, with manager Jose Mourinho yet to pick who his first choice will be as the new campaign draws closer, though it is expected that Courtois may be edging it for the number one spot after his superb performances on loan with Atletico Madrid for the last three seasons.
The emergence of the Belgian youngster as one of the best in the world in his position will come as some blow for Cech, who has been a great servant to Chelsea in his long career as number one at Stamford Bridge.
It seems unlikely that either player will be happy to settle for being on the bench this season, and Real will hope to capitalise as they continue to target new signings in goal, despite bringing in Keylor Navas from Levante to compete with the out-of-form Iker Casillas for a place between the sticks.
