Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing up a January move for Manchester United attacking midfielder Juan Mata, according to Fichajes.net.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a move away several times recently, with Juventus, AS Roma and Atletico Madrid among the names considering a bid for him in the winter.
However, Real are now also believed to be in the running as they consider the Spanish playmaker as a decent replacement for Angel Di Maria, who has taken his place in the United team since leaving Madrid for Old Trafford this summer.
Mata has not been at his best since joining the Red Devils from Chelsea earlier this year, and may be allowed to leave for a return to La Liga.
