The gifted 19-year-old has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford this season, having made his breakthrough in the United first-team under Moyes last season.
The Scot is now with Sociedad and looking for signings this January to put his own stamp on the squad, and a move for Januzaj could make sense given his lack of opportunities this season.
Big-name signings such as Angel Di Maria have seen the Belgian international find playing time somewhat more limited.
