San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh has made headlines this season, and it has not been for his coaching performance despite continuing to make the 49ers a contender after they endured many losing seasons in the 2000s.
The players are reportedly fed up with Harbaugh, and reports have said that he will not return as the 49ers’ head coach next season. This has launched rumors that the Miami Dolphins will pursue him if he leaves.
However, the Dolphins are not expected to fire Joe Philbin. NFL Network national reporter Ian Rapoport revealed that Harbaugh’s wife wants to stay in northern California.
Here is Rapoport’s tweet releasing the latest news on the 49ers head coach.
Jim Harbaugh is no longer on the #Dolphins radar in unlikely event Philbin is fired. His wife wants to stay in the Bay Area. Hello #Raiders
