Cardinals beat Rams – Cardinals defeat St. Louis Rams, 12-6
The Arizona Cardinals blew their lead in the NFC West as they were beaten, 35-6, by the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football.
Third-string quarterback Ryan Lindley did nothing to assure head coach Bruce Arians that he can be the guy going forward as he was held to 216 yards and an interception on 18-of-44 passing.
As a result, the Cardinals are expected to give Logan Thomas a crack at the starting job. The Cardinals have already clinched the playoffs as they are 11-4, but they will find difficulty making it out of the first round.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network broke the news on Twitter.
