Former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was cut by the team following the release of a TMZ video of a horrifying incident involving him and his wife, Janay.
Rice punched his wife in a casino elevator and knocked her unconscious before dragging her out of it. He was initially suspended for two games, but the newly released video caused the NFL to suspend him indefinitely and the Ravens to cut him.
The former Ravens running back filed a grievance against the team, claiming that they owed him $3.5 million. Rice has reached a settlement with the Ravens, but the details are currently unknown.
