The Chicago Bears parted ways with head coach Marc Trestman after just two seasons. The Bears finished with a 5-11 record after being expected by many to make the playoffs.
Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator is now rumored to be among the Bears’ candidates. The Bears are reportedly making a strong push for him, and he worked well with the Ravens as quarterback Joe Flacco had one of his best seasons ever.
Kubiak has previous experience as a head coach with the Houston Texans, but that stint didn’t go well as he was fired after a 2-11 start in 2013, which ended with a 2-14 record.
However, he was able to coach the Texans to the playoffs twice in his stint as their head coach. The Bears will look to return there and revive quarterback Jay Cutler’s career if he stays in Chicago.
