Chicago Bears WR Brandon Marshall is out for the year with injuries, but thankfully the Bears star receiver is now out of the hospital too.
Marshall was hospitalized with lung and rib injuries after the Bears Thursday night loss to the Dallas Cowboys, but head coach Marc Trestman said that Marshall has been released from the hospital. Trestman also indicated that Marshall will miss the final three games of the season and that the team would examine their roster before officially placing Marshall on the season-ending injured reserve list.
“We’re working through some roster situations and I think that will all work itself out over the next few days,” Trestman said, via the Chicago Sun-Times. “That’s part of it. As of now, he’ll be out of Monday night, obviously. [The move to IR] will come to fruition when everything is worked out roster-wise.”
