The Chicago Bulls are currently the third seed in the Eastern Conference, but head coach Tom Thibodeau is reportedly not seeing eye-to-eye with the Bulls’ front office.

This has fueled speculation that the defensive mastermind may no longer be the Bulls’ head coach.
If Thibodeau leaves, the Bulls are expected to target Iowa State head coach Fred Hoiberg, who used to play for the Bulls.
Iowa State’s basketball program has risen to prominence since Hoiberg became the coach, and they made a trip to the Sweet 16 in 2014 although they were just recently trounced in the first round.
The 42-year-old will provide young blood for the Bulls if he is hired by them, but it will be difficult to replace Thibodeau’s defensive mind.
SB Nation NBA announced the rumors of Hoiberg jumping ship on Twitter.
