Rookie defensive end Michael Sam has had a challenging journey in the NFL since being drafted in the seventh round by the St. Louis Rams.
Sam was cut by the Rams during the final roster cuts, but the Dallas Cowboys signed him to their practice squad. However, the Cowboys cut him in October.
After his journey appeared to be over, the defensive end has reportedly been contacted by a half dozen teams. He is expected to sign a futures contract with a team and attend their training camp next season.
