The Denver Broncos mutually parted ways with head coach John Fox after an unexpected early exit from the playoffs, and the coaching staff has been gutted.
However, offensive coordinator Adam Gase, who is 36 years old, is still a candidate to become the new head coach for the Broncos. He will interview with John Elway for the
Gase helped guide the Broncos to having arguably the best offense in NFL history in 2013 before falling, 43-8, in the Super Bowl against a Seattle Seahawks team with a historically dominant defense.
The Broncos still don’t know whether quarterback Peyton Manning will return for the 2015 season. Their choice for their next head coach may very well affect whether or not Manning retires.
