The Denver Broncos have decided to hold off on immediate conversations with two star receivers for new contract deals.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Broncos have tabled contract talks with both WR Demaryius Thomas and TE Julius Thomas, as both play out their contracts this season. They’ve reportedly negotiated with both players, but with no resolution imminent, have decided to wait until the offseason.
WR Wes Welker’s deal is also expiring, but there is no news on that front either.
Both Thomas’ were elected to the Pro Bowl for their roles in helping Peyton Manning set the single season passing TD and passing yards record en route to Superbowl XLVIII.
