It has been nearly 10 months since Derrick Rose went down with an ACL tear, and since then many have speculated when he would return to the line-up. After nearly two months of participating in pre-game warm-ups and starting to perform simple dunks, many believed that ”D Rose’ was near ready.
The man himself said repeatedly that he will only come back when he believed that he was fully ready, even going to the extent that he was happy with missing out the entire season if it meant it.
Well it seems the wait is finally over as Flapship have reported that Rose will make his return on Monday, in a crucial game against Denver.
Chicago have performed very well in the absence of the 24-old. However in the last month, their form has dropped rapidly, and this may be a reason for the return of their best player and former league MVP.
Whether D-Rose is 100% is something that will have to be judged if he does indeed play on Monday. What is clear is that Chicago need him now, or their playoff run will not go past the first round without him.
