The opener for the 2016 season has been revealed as Florida State and Ole Miss will play each other, according to reports.
This is exciting for college football fans since both teams are in the top 10, and the Seminoles are coming off a national championship season. The Rebels have become one of the top teams in a stacked SEC West.
This will be the teams’ first meeting since 1961, and Ole Miss had beaten Florida State, 33-0, in that game. It will be interesting to see how Florida State will be in 2016 since quarterback Jameis Winston will be gone by then, but their recruiting is sure to keep them relevant.
