Georgia running back Todd Gurley was on track to contend for the Heisman Trophy, but the NCAA has suspended him indefinitely for violation of rules.
This was unspecified at first, but it has been revealed that the running back allegedly accepted payments for autographs from a sports memorabilia dealer.
This may possibly be one of the biggest college football scandals in recent memory along with the Reggie Bush money scandal and Penn State abuse scandal.
While this will hurt Georgia’s quest to win the SEC East, it will not likely affect Gurley’s NFL draft stock as he still has a great chance at being taken in the first round.
