It had been initially reported that the Colts blew the whistle during the second quarter after Colts linebacker D’Qwell Jackson came up with an interception.
However, Grigson said that he told the NFL about this several days before the game had started. Despite the attention received during the game, the Colts were unable to keep up as they were blown out, 45-7.
The Patriots went on to win Super Bowl 49, but they may be facing harsh penalties if they are caught after the investigation.
