The Kansas City Chiefs received a major blow to their defense as safety Eric Berry will no longer play this season. The safety reportedly has an illness that may be cancer.
Berry was tested, and a mass was found in his chest. The Chiefs believe that this may be lymphoma.
The Chiefs have placed Berry on the non-football injury list as a result of this, and this may keep him from playing football for a while.
Here is a tweet from ESPN NFL Nation reporter Adam Teicher, who covers the Chiefs.
