Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is reportedly on the verge of receiving a huge contract extension.
The Miami Dolphins have still been unable to make the playoffs since the 2008 season as they finished 8-8 in the 2014 season.

However, quarterback Ryan Tannehill showed remarkable improvement in his third season in the NFL as he threw for 4,045 passing yards, 27 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions for a 92.8 passer rating.
For his improvement and potential to be even better, the Dolphins are working on a long-term contract for their franchise quarterback.
Tannehill is reportedly going to be signed for $105 million over seven years, which would give him approximately $15 million per year.
Only the first two years of his contract will be guaranteed though, and his deal will be incentive-based. San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton received similar deals last offseason.
