New England Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis has helped the team possess one of the league’s most dangerous pass defenses, but this certainly does not make him immune to punishment, especially in the eyes of head coach Bill Belichick.
Revis showed up late to the Patriots’ team facility on Tuesday’s practice, and Belichick sent him home to send the message that showing up late to team practices or meetings is unacceptable.
However, the cornerback returned to practice on Wednesday and reportedly accepted the consequences for his tardiness.
Here is a tweet from the Pro Football Talk Twitter account reporting on Revis’ tardiness.
