The New England Patriots are still in the playoffs as they are coming off a first-round bye, and they are set to face the Baltimore Ravens at home on Saturday.
The Patriots are still working on contracts with their free agents though, as demonstrated by the re-signings of running back Brandon Bolden and safety Patrick Chung.
After struggling with the Philadelphia Eagles, Chung was brought back to the Patriots on a one-year deal. The safety put together a solid performance and was rewarded with a three-year, $8.3 million contract extension with $3.4 million guaranteed.
Bolden is rarely involved in the rushing offense, but he has been a key special teams contributor. The Patriots gave him a two-year, $2.32 million contract extension.
