Del Rio has served as the Broncos defensive coordinator since 2012. Under Del Rio, the Broncos finished with a top five defense twice in the past three years.
In nine seasons as head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2003 to 2011, Del Rio went 68-71 with two playoff appearances, but never won the AFC South division title. The Jaguars fired Del Rio after a 3-8 start in 2011 but have not had a winning season since then.
Del Rio never had a great QB when he served in Jacksonville, but may have a rising star in QB Derek Carr.
The Oakland Raiders fired head coach Dennis Allen after an 0-4 start in 2014. Interim head coach Tony Sparano went 3-9 down the stretch and was a popular candidate for the job.
