“He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he’s doing. He’s in such a great space. That’s why it’s the perfect time to do something like this,” the source told People.
People Magazine also reported that Jenner is also filming his transformation in what will be a “docu-series” to be released later in 2015.
“It will air when he is ready to be open about his transition,” People’s source said. “But he’s acting more and more confident and seems very happy.”
A former Decathlon player, Jenner represented the United States in the 1976 Olympic Games, claiming the Gold Medal and becoming an overnight American hero for reclaiming the medal from the Soviet Union. Forays into film and other sports were only mildly successful. But his marriage to Kris Jenner, making him the stepfather of the Kardashian family, helped turn him into a reality TV star on the show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
On Entertainment Tonight, his stepdaughter Kim Kardashian said, “I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right.”
