The New England Patriots have had a rocky start to their season as they are 2-2 and coming off a 41-14 blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
This may be a contributing factor to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady being angry with the direction of his team. Brady was benched late in the game for rookie Jimmy Garoppolo, who was drafted in the second round to seemingly be the future Hall of Famer’s successor.
Sources from ESPN have said that there is growing tension between the Patriots quarterback and the coaching staff. The reports are also saying that Garoppolo may see the field as the Patriots’ starting quarterback sooner rather than later since Brady may not finish his career in New England.
Brady is being seen as a quarterback on the decline even with his lack of reliable receiving weapons.
The Patriots have recently made some questionable decisions such as trading away Pro Bowl guard Logan Mankins for tight end Timothy Wright and a draft pick.
