Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has been rehabbing from a dislocated ankle injury for the past several weeks, and the Redskins have continued to struggle in his absence.
However, Griffin’s return is drawing near. The Redskins are still choosing to play it safe though as they will start Colt McCoy on Monday against the Dallas Cowboys, who was thrown into action after Kirk Cousins was benched.
McCoy performed well against the Tennessee Titans, but he will face a much bigger test from the Dallas Cowboys, who are arguably the best team in the NFL.
Here is a tweet from the National Football Post Twitter account confirming Griffin’s injury status.
