Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was suspended for two games by the NFL for beating his wife, who was his fiancé at the time, unconscious in an elevator and then dragging her.
A new development has surfaced in this story with a video of Rice where the viewer can clearly see him punching her.
This has caused mass outrage among the league, and the Ravens locker room is reportedly turning on him as well.
“I don’t think he has very much support now at all. I think it’s gone,” one of the Ravens players said in a text message.
This is most likely because Rice had told his teammates that he hit his then-fiancé in self-defense, so this would mean the Ravens players view him as untrustworthy in addition to being a woman beater.
The Ravens are expected to possibly deactivate Rice, and players across the league are calling for him to be out of the league.
