St. Louis Rams running back Zac Stacy left Sunday’s game early with a calf injury, and backup running back Benny Cunningham filled in for him and rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.
It was initially expected that Stacy would miss some time to nurse his calf injury. However, a report has come out stating that Stacy’s injury is just a strained calf.
This means that the Rams running back will be able to return soon. Here is a tweet from NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport releasing this relieving news for Rams fans.
#Rams RB Zac Stacy has just a strained calf, I’m told. Should be good to go.
