The Pittsburgh Steelers won against the Carolina Panthers, 37-19, in a physical match that claimed a few Steelers defensive players.
Cornerback Ike Taylor was taken out of the game with a broken arm, and rookie inside linebacker Ryan Shazier sprained his MCL while outside linebacker Jarvis Jones broke his wrist.
Taylor is expected to be headed to the injured reserve list but may be designated to return. Shazier will be out for at least a few weeks, and Jones is expected to be out indefinitely.
