Troubled wide receiver Josh Gordon, who was suspended for the season, is working as a car salesman to hold himself over until he can return for the 2015 season.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has been suspended for the entire 2014 season, but this is not stopping him from pursuing work off the football field.
The troubled wide receiver is currently working as a car salesman to keep himself busy until he can return to playing football. His job will be as a goodwill ambassador for the Sarchione Auto Group.
Gordon was suspended by the NFL for repeated violations of the league’s substance abuse policy.
These violations included testing positive for marijuana use twice and getting caught for driving under the influence while impaired.
The 23-year-old receiver already established himself as an elite NFL receiver by finishing with 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns in just 14 games last season, but he had served a two-game suspension for a previous substance abuse policy violation.
He was not able to sign a deal with a Canadian Football League team since a suspended NFL player cannot do so.
