The Washington Redskins have continued to struggle this season after having high hopes for a bounceback season following the firing of Mike Shanahan as their head coach.
Quarterback Robert Griffin III struggled mightily in his second professional season, and he has still been unable to return to his rookie form and has been benched for Colt McCoy as a result.
Head coach Jay Gruden has even publicly criticized Griffin along with other players, and he may be on his way out of Washington since his rookie contract is close to expiring.
However, reports are saying that the Redskins’ front office may side with their quarterback again by firing the head coach.
Here is a tweet from the NBC Sports Twitter account releasing the news on the Redskins’ latest drama.
