Icardi was linked with a £28 million move to either Stamford Bridge or Anfield this summer after firmly establishing himself as one of Serie A’s finest young talents during his time at the San Siro, but decided to extend his stay at Inter Milan, and has now spoken about the possibility of penning an even longer deal with the former European champions:
“On the renewal I don’t know anything yet. But I chose Inter, and I want to stay here. I want to stay because here we have a desire to build something.”
